Questions
Is there a cost or an API key?
No. The server is free, read-only and needs no key or sign-in. Please cite the page or public source that comes back with each answer.
Where does the data come from?
The same sources as the pages on this site: the Census Bureau (New Residential Construction and the Survey of Construction), the Federal Reserve Board loan officer survey, the New York Fed (SOFR), and the HUD and federal banking rules cited on the compare and sizer pages.
Is a sizing result a quote?
No. It applies the public rules to the numbers you give. Bank and fund terms are set by each lender, and HUD per-unit statutory limits are not applied.
